Inside this off season program

The 12 week off season program is divided into 3 phases. You can see what’s inside each week below.

Phase 1: Strength and injury prevention

This phase starts week 1 and ends week 4
Trapbar deadlift for basketball players looking to jump higher

The first phase enables you to build a strong foundation and makes sure that your results will last longer.

By focusing on building strength and stabilizing muscles you will enhance your performance and reduce the risk of injury.

After these weeks you will get an optimal base to build on.

What you'll focus on in phase 1:

During the second phase, the program shifts towards developing explosive strength and power.

This part will start working towards jumping higher, sprinting faster and moving quicker - aiming to increase fast-twitch muscle fiber activation.

This will bring you that athletic edge on the court.

What you'll focus on in phase 2:

Phase 2: Explosiveness and power

This phase starts week 4 and ends week 8

Phase 3: Plyometric and CoD

This phase starts week 8 and ends week 12

The final phase concentrates on plyometric training and agility drills and will move the needle to really outperform your competitors. 

By enhancing your ability to perform multi-directional movements, change of direction and reaction time your progression will immediately transform to actual game situations.
